Casa Antigua

Casa Antigua maintains its old finca feeling at its core, providing a cozy environment enclosed within its 60 cm thick walls. The living room includes a couch set, fireplace and a television (satellite TV). The basket-weaved shelf contains various illustrated books, descriptions and maps of the surrounding region as well as literature in several languages (more such books can be found in Casa Jardin).

On cool winter evenings, it is possible to light the fireplace. Alternatively, you can use the silent electric convector (fan-less) and the quiet air conditioning for heating. During the hotter summer days, you can also cool down the entire house using the same air conditioning unit.

The bedroom is separated from the living room by a portière and an archway. Inside the bedroom, each of the two beds comes with a separate bedside reading lamp, and a Castellano-style wardrobe lies at the foot of each bed. A wide wooden board connects the top of the cabinets and provides additional storage space for your luggage and other extra storable items.

The bathroom is furnished with a shower, toilet and sink with various storage compartments. The Aloe Vera scented shower gel held within the dispenser is pH neutral and is very gentle on the skin. The hand soap in the dispenser next to the sink is also pH-neutral.

On the right between the exterior and interior doors you can find the various light switches operating the outdoor area: the entrance to the park, the terrace in front of Casa Antigua as well as the two lights in the corners and along the passageway to the outdoor shower. Once activated, these two lights can be adjusted using the dimmer switch. If you are going out for a trip or visiting a restaurant in the evening, it is recommended that you turn on these lights in advance, so that the outside area remains illuminated for when you return.

To the right of the wooden interior door, you will find the light switches controlling the lamp by the fireplace and the upper will light in the bedroom. The two-way circuit in the master bedroom allows you to activate the light from both the main entrance door and from the bedroom (switch next to the bed on the right).

In the bathroom, you can use the upper switch to turn the boiler on and off, and the lower one for the bathroom light as well as the exterior lighting for the parking lot behind Casa Antigua.

All switches are labeled and are set in the "on" position when the lower part of the rocker switch is pressed in and the upper part of the rocker protrudes.
